What are Eyelash Extensions?
They are individual extensions made of a synthetic material to look like perfect natural eyelashes; thicker at the base and thinner at the tip with a slight curl.
They come in many different colors; the most popular is Solid Black. They are adhered one by one to a natural lash with a medical-grade bonding adhesive giving the appearance of a darker, more voluptuous lash-line.
An average eyelid has approximately 100 natural hairs which shed at an average rate of 20-30% every 2 weeks. Therefore, when the natural hair sheds, so does the extension that was attached to it.
Since new hairs are always growing in, touch-ups can be performed to attach extensions to the new growth keeping the lashes looking full continuously or for as long as you wish to maintain them.
How often will I need to get a Fill-In?
On average, fill-ins are recommended every 2-3 weeks to keep the lashes looking their best. With proper maintenance semi-permanent eyelash extensions can be kept up indefinitely through regular refills.

1 week touch-up is 7 days anything over 7 days is a 2 week anything over 14 days is a 3 week and so on…
Can Eyelash Extensions be applied on anyone?
Anyone with an eyelash to attach to can receive eyelash extensions. However, if you have any of the following conditions we advise you to schedule a free consultation with a Bellezza Eyelash Technician prior to scheduling a full set to best determine if lashes are right for you.
Extremely sensitive eyes or skin
Eye infection of any kind
Allergy to cyanoacrylate (this is used in acrylic nails and most adhesives of any kind)

Will the Eyelash Extensions damage my natural hairs?
Our application technique and premium products will not damage your natural lashes. It is imperative to the health of your lashes to have each natural hair isolated when an extension is adhered to it and ensure proper separation so that the hairs can continue to grow and shed as they would naturally.
We only use formaldehyde-free, medical-grade adhesives which are made exclusively for lash extensions and offer a more sensitive adhesive for our guests who are more prone to allergic reactions.
This combination of our top quality adhesive and individual lash attachment will sustain the health and integrity of the natural hairs indefinitely.
What kind of extension does Bellezza use and what is the difference between silk and mink?
All lashes used at Bellezza are made of a sterilized, top-quality synthetic material from our customized brand "Bellezza Lashes Eyelash Extensions" exclusively for our salons. We use a double-heat roll process to provide the longest-lasting curl available.
Our premium silk lashes are tapered slightly at the ends and are thicker through the body, with a dark semi-matte satin finish providing a beautiful full appearance.
Our premium mink lashes are our lightest and most vibrant lash extension, tapered approximately 2/3 down from the tip with a beautiful deep black, semi-gloss finish providing a longer-lasting hold and gorgeous soft appearance.

Can you describe the application process?
The application process is very relaxing, just like receiving a spa service. You will lie back on a plush table and have your eyes closed the entire time.
The application is very gentle and can be best described as though someone is gently brushing through your lashes.
The service generally takes between 60 to 120 minutes to apply a full set and touch-ups can be done in as little as 45 mins to 60 minutes.
The procedure is so relaxing and comfortable that many clients fall asleep.
How do I take care of these Extensions once they’re on?
It can take up to 24 hours for the eyelash extension adhesive to fully cure the bond between your natural lash and the extensions.
Avoid swimming, spas, saunas and tanning on the day of your lash appointment. After the 24 hours, they are able to get wet.
While sleeping, lashes can tangle or flip to the side. Brush through your lashes each morning with a clean mascara wand to reshape the extension and keep them fluffed into place.
The overall upkeep is very minimal and very easy to manage.
What should I do prior to my appointment?
Remove all eye makeup and clean your natural lashes with an oil-free cleanser.
If you wear contact lens, we recommend removing them.
Avoid caffeine and any other stimulants that may cause your eyes to flutter involuntarily.
Refrain from curling or perming your natural lashes prior to receiving your full set.
Can I have my Eyelash Extensions removed?
Eyelash extensions can be easily removed by a Bellezza Eyelash Technician using a special gel remover formulated to quickly dissolve the medical-grade adhesive and gently wipe away the lash extensions.
The process is painless and will not harm your natural hairs – taking less than 45 minutes.
Please do not attempt to remove lash extensions yourself as this can cause damage to your natural lashes.

These are not Eyelash Extensions, but it is a good alternative if you feel like Extensions are not for you.
A lash lift is an advancement on the old fashioned “lashperm”. The Perm hold for up to 3 months and the tint 3-6 weeks.
Unlike the perming rods used in the past, new specially created silicone pads lift the lashes from the root only, creating a subtle, natural looking lift, giving the illusion of length, and making the eyes appear more open.
